Partners
The project consortium is structured to leverage the diverse expertise of each partner organization. The partnership composition enables a comprehensive approach to environmental education and sustainable development in the Black Sea region, ensuring a well-rounded implementation of the project and the achievement of its objectives. The partnership is composed of an NGO, a BSO, a university and a research institute.
The ecosySTEM project is a partnership initiative aimed at empowering children in the Black Sea region through innovative environmental education, specifically focusing on E-STEM training.

Structure
The partnership structure is designed to bring together organizations from different countries within the Black Sea region, each contributing their unique expertise and resources. The partners are needed to implement the project and achieve its objectives due to their complementary competences and roles. The partners have expertise in various thematic fields related to environmental education, STEM and sustainable development.
For example, DUTH, as a university, brings academic expertise in environmental sciences and education. İO-BAS specializes in oceanology and marine research, which is relevant to understanding marine ecosystems and the impact of human activities. IDEA Universal, as an NGO, likely has experience in project management and community engagement. UABSC will contribute its knowledge and networks in business development and investment promotion, which could be valuable for sustainability-related initiatives.
Partners
The Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme is a program that promotes cross- border cooperation among countries in the Black Sea Basin. Funded by the European Union, this program develops projects in areas such as environmental sustainability, economic development, and cultural and social integration. Its goals include protecting nature and biodiversity, reducing pollution, developing green infrastructure, and combating climate change.
Within the framework of this program, EcosySTEM focus directly on environmental education, sustainable development, and enhancing the environmental awareness of younger generations. By strengthening the sharing of knowledge and resources among the countries bordering the Black Sea, the program enables the development of joint solutions to the region’s environmental and economic challenges.
